UK Pantomime Awards 2023

Held at the Trafalgar Theatre on 11th April 2023 Robert was honoured to present the ‘Best Ensemble’ award before his song ‘Listen, Look & Love Me’ from ‘Cinderella’ was performed by Crayola The Queen. 

Theatre Royal Stratford East also received a Special Achievement Award for ‘their continued innovative and inclusive practice in the field of pantomime’.

Letchworth City Chorus

 

Robert has just been made Musical Director of the Letchworth City Chorus.

City Chorus is a community choir, open to anyone who would like to sing.

No auditions; just come along to the rehearsals on Wednesdays, 7.30pm until 10.00pm at the Free Church, Norton Way South, Letchworth and see how you like it.

Their repertoire extends from jazzy show tunes to haunting sacred music.

Rehearsals are fun and you don’t need to be able to read music.

Pocket Panto - Jack and the Beanstalk

JACK & THE BEANSTALK –  A POCKET PANTO

Christmas 2020 was the first year that there was no Pantomime at The Theatre Royal Stratford East due to Coronavirus and Nationwide Lockdowns. Pantomime is a huge part of Christmas celebrations so Robert was commissioned by Theatre Royal Stratford East to write a 15min Panto to be viewed online. This is the first time Robert wrote the music and the script without a writing partner.
